I resigned in May to move to North Carolina and be with my girlfriend, who is now my wife. I left as The Telegraph’s senior reporter, with a focus on state and local politics. I covered three state legislative sessions by myself from our capitol bureau. Prior to that I covered several local governments, as well as numerous local, state and federal political campaigns. I also authored two blogs, Lucid Idiocy and Lucid Idiocy (Politics).

Cops and courts reporter. I covered a 500-year flood and a month-long political struggle that ended with the police chief getting fired.
