I resigned in May to move to North Carolina and be with my girlfriend, who is now my wife. I left as The Telegraph’s senior reporter, with a focus on state and local politics. I covered three state legislative sessions by myself from our capitol bureau. Prior to that I covered several local governments, as well as numerous local, state and federal political campaigns. I also authored two blogs, Lucid Idiocy and Lucid Idiocy (Politics).

Oct. 1998 - May 2000, The Daily Reflector

Cops and courts reporter. I covered a 500-year flood and a month-long political struggle that ended with the police chief getting fired.

1998 bachelor of journalism with minors in English and geology from the University of Georgia. High honor graduate, Phi Beta Kappa.
