The Rocky Mountain News in Denver, Colorado, has printed it's final edition. The fate of the online service is less certain:
Scripps said it will now offer for sale the masthead, archives and Web site of the Rocky, separate from its interest in the newspaper agency.Good luck to journalists.

Don't know what the future holds, but I'm certain, at some point, that Americans will wake up and realize that not having print journalist -- that is, journalists who actually take their time and hold people accountable and examine things -- is a bad thing for our Republic.
