In case you were wondering about the definition of irony...
Seriously, when I heard this last night, I thought it was made up. But apparently Pres. Bush actually said this to American troops in Afghanistan about two weeks ago:

Funny how he offered to work in Afghanistan instead of Iraq.
Jaw-dropping, really. He couldn't even be bothered to show up consistently for his guard duty. Was that not romantic enough for him? Does he think this is a movie? You know-some set everyone walks off when the cameras stop rolling?
