UPDATE: www.NRCC.org is www.NRCC.org again. We'll just pretend like they read this blog and thought: "Yeah, that is kind of dumb." Since this post makes no sense without explanation now, let me note that, on Monday, if you typed www.nrcc.org into your browser, it went straight to here.

So I just went to the National Republican Congressional Committee's Website to get a contact number for the Collins story mentioned below. Check out what happens when you type www.nrcc.org into your browser.
What does it say about an organization that it's home page is essentially named "the other guys are bad?"

It says we don't have a message, we can't govern, but elect us those other guys are morons. This is why no matter how the Presidential race turns in 08 Congress is safe for the Dems.
I've seen that happen when someone mis-configures a website. Assuming the "RealDemocratStory" site is hosted and run by the NRCC (or whomever runs the NRCC's website) and the RealDemocratStory is listed first, then is was a geek who messed up.
Given how long the site was down (under 24hrs), I'm betting it was a boo-boo.
I bet it was calculated and in preparation for the re-launch of their new site.
We're glad you guys pay attention - and hope you enjoy the new site. And yes, we listen.
